Who should get tested?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  • People who have symptoms of COVID-19<\/li>
  • Most people who have had close contact (within 6 feet for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with someone with confirmed COVID-19.<\/li>
  • Fully vaccinated people with no COVID-19 symptoms do not need to be tested following exposure to someone with COVID-19.<\/li>
  • CDC recommends that anyone with any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 get tested, regardless of vaccination status or prior infection.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Types of tests<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    COVID-19 tests are available that can test for current infection or past infection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • A viral test tells you if you have a current infection. <\/li>
